Rasha Magdy is an Egyptian singer-songwriter who appeared on the music scene at the beginning of the first decade of the 2000s.
During her career she has not made any albums and has followed a personal artistic path that has led her to publish very different songs on the web.
If at the beginning she tended to perform accompanied only on the acoustic guitar, over time the arrangement of her songs has evolved. While maintaining the intimate tone in the singing, the stylistic code that characterizes her, Rasha Magdy has shown that she knows how to move easily through more electronic musical styles, creating truly fascinating hypnotic pop songs.
In some songs she has collaborated with the famous underground rapper Abyusif and between 2013 and 2018 she has worked as an actress acting in some films and TV series.
There is very little information about her and over the last few years her publications have become rarefied. In 2018 she starred in the film "La ahdun hunaka-The Giraffe" by Egyptian director Ahmed Magdy and she wrote for the occasion the song "Ma fish hadun hunaka" featured in the soundtrack.
This remains her last musical release to this day.
In 2015 the Araby TV channel created a special dedicated to her for the Nagham Taza program.
Rasha Magdy è una cantautrice Egiziana apparsa sulla scena musicale agli inizi della prima decade degli anni 2000. Nel corso della sua carriera non ha realizzato nessun album ed ha seguito un percorso artistico personale che la ha portata a pubblicare sul web brani molto diversi fra loro.
Se agli esordi tendeva ad esibirsi accompagnandosi unicamente con la chitarra acustica, nel corso del tempo l'arrangiamento dei suoi brani si è evoluto . Pur mantenendo nel cantato il tono intimista, la cifra stilistica che la caratterizza, Rasha Magdy ha dimostrato di sapersi muovere agevolmente attraverso stili musicali più elettronici, realizzando canzoni pop ipnotiche ed avvolgenti davvero affascinanti.
In alcuni brani ha collaborato con il famoso rapper underground Abyusif e tra il 2013 ed il 2018 ha lavorato come attrice recitando in alcuni film e serie TV.
Le informazioni su di lei sono davvero pochissime e nel corso degli ultimi anni le sue pubblicazioni si sono rarefatte.
Nel 2019 ha recitato nel film " La ahdun hunaka - The Giraffe" del regista egiziano Ahmed Magdy e ha scritto per l'occasione il brano
"Ma fish hadun hunaka" presente nella colonna sonora.
Questa rimane ad oggi la sua ultima pubblicazione musicale.
Nel 2015 Il canale Araby TV ha realizzato per il programma Nagham Taza uno speciale a lei dedicato.
