Ram6 a.k.a L'Hamorabi was born on the 18th of August 1988 in Besancon (France) where his Lebanese parents had settled during the civil war. Growing up, he often enjoyed listening to his parents' records, mostly Lebanese music like Fairuz and Majida Al Roumi to name a few. He discovered Hip-Hop in 1997 through the local French scene in Paris which he considers as his first influence as he started writing lyrics in 2000. In 2001, his family moved back to Beirut (Lebanon) where they are still currently living. Back in his country of origin, Ram6 found his roots and rapidly switched his rap to Arabic. Through his music, he is aiming to naturalize Lebanese Hip-Hop, using powerful lyrics and a truly original flow accompanied by funky beats, produced by Ram6 himself. He mainly raps about the social and political situation in Lebanon, hoping to inspire freedom and equality amongst his peers. Influenced by artists like James Brown and Ziad El Rahbany, Ram6's sound is a beautiful marriage of Funk,Blues,soul &Tarab samples and urban Hip-Hop with raw lyrics and punchlines . His first album "Funklore" is due to launch soon and he is currently working on the second: "T&B: Tarab & Blues". He also produces beats for local Lebanese rappers such as R.G.B. and plays with a live band, "Funklore", performing regularly in the capital.

Ram6 aka L'Hamorabi è nato il 18 agosto 1988 a Besancon (Francia) luogo in cui la famiglia si è stabilì in seguito allo scoppio della guerra civile libanese. Cresciuto ascoltando i dischi dei genitori (in special modo le cantanti libanesi Fairuz e Majida Al Roumi) ha scoperto l' Hip-Hop nel 1997 grazie alla scena locale parigina che egli considererà sua influenza principale. Nel 2001 ,una volta conclusasi la guerra civile, la sua famiglia tornò patria e si è stabilì a Beirut . Nel paese d'origine Ram6 ritrova le sue radici , abbandona l’uso del francese e comincia a rappare in arabo. Influenzato da artisti come James Brown e Ziad El Rahbany, forte dell’ esperienza musicale e culturale conseguita in Europa, è riuscito a dar vita ad un suono molto originale, una perfetta fusione di ritmi orientali basati sul Tarab ( il classico ritmo arabo), sull'hip hop e il funk. Rapper, produttore, beatmaker e attivista è interessato a storia, teologia e psicologia. Con i suoi testi , potenti e originali , affronta con piglio acuto la situazione sociale e politica libanese proponendosi di ispirare i suoi coetanei perché possano costruire un futuro di pace e libertà. Produttore di beats per vari rappers della scena araba si esibisce regolarmente dal vivo con una band chiamata "Funklore". Da poco ha realizzato un album intitolato ASHURYA.
