Once upon a time, at the beginning of the creation theatre. The Father of the Gods appeared on this primal hill, on which the first features of life appeared. The names of these features were derived from the nature of the place, such as night, darkness, disappearance, and vibration, on this hill an egg of a goose lay, Al Saa’iha al Kobra, and it turned darkness into light.
This first light and first sound that dispelled darkness and signified the earth’s creation from water.
In the middle of it, there was an island called the Flame Island, and on this island, there was a tribe. They followed a religion called Kharanda’ and One of the most important teachings of their religion is “There is no such thing as absolute truth, Everyone is seeking their own”.

These are the only notes that accompany the album entitled "Primal Ocean". Made in 2014 by a mysterious duo from Ramallah called Asnam al masrah, the album offers an electronic excursion into the world of metaphysics and the esoteric. The guarantee of the project is the production of Muqata'a, one of the best and most brilliant artists that the land of Palestine has ever given birth to. Originally released on Soundcloud, the album was re-proposed in 2020 on the bandcamp page of the Palestinian label Meds (Mediteranos), a recent Palestinian musical reality that offers truly obscure but very very interesting experimental projects. The album proposed here (like all the works made by the label) represents an all-round artistic production. It goes beyond the political and social problems of the area and explores spiritual territories of a more universal nature. Upon its release it did not receive the right attention and like many projects born on the web it fell into oblivion. For this reason I decided to dedicate a post to it. In my opinion, this is one of the best projects born in Palestine in the last decades.

C'era una volta, all'inizio del teatro della creazione.

Il Padre degli Dei apparve su questa collina primordiale, sulla quale comparvero le prime caratteristiche della vita.

I nomi di queste caratteristiche derivavano dalla natura del luogo, come notte, oscurità, scomparsa e vibrazione, su questa collina depose un uovo un oca, Al Saa'iha al Kobra, e trasformò l'oscurità in luce. Questa prima luce e questo primo suono dissiparono l'oscurità e significarono la creazione della terra dall'acqua. Nel mezzo, c'era un'isola chiamata l'Isola della Fiamma, e su quest'isola c'era una tribù. Seguivano una religione chiamata Kharanda' e uno degli insegnamenti più importanti della loro religione è "Non esiste una verità assoluta, ognuno cerca la propria".

Queste sono le uniche note che corredano l'album intitolato Primal Ocean . Realizzato nel 2014 ad opera di un fantomatico duo proveniente da Ramallah denominatosi Asnam al masrah, l'album propone un escursione elettronica nel mondo della metafisica e dell'esoterico. A garanzia del progetto sta la produzione di Muqata'a ,uno dei migliori e più geniali artisti che la terra di Palestina abbia mai partorito.
Uscito originariamente su Soundcloud , l'album è stato riproposto nel 2020 sulla pagina bandcamp dell'etichetta palestinese Meds ( Mediteranos), una recente realtà musicale palestinese che propone progetti sperimentali davvero oscuri ma molto molto interessanti.
L'album qui proposto ( come tutti i lavori realizzati dall'etichetta) rappresenta una produzione artistica a tutto tondo. Va oltre le problematiche politiche e sociali dell'area ed esplora territori spirituali dal carattere più universale.

Alla sua uscita non ha ricevuto la giusta attenzione e come molti progetti nati nel web è caduto nel dimenticatoio. Per questo motivo ho deciso dedicargli un post. A mio parere si tratta di uno dei migliori progetti nati in Palestina negli ultimi decenni.
