A new selection that explores the fantastic world of music of the past century dedicated to belly dance.

Keeping in line with past practice that saw musicians and composers using the name of famous dancers to name their works, I decided to devote this new Mixtape to Alia Mohamed, a US dancer based in Los Angeles  , who uses for her performances many of these beautiful songs
If over the years, from the 1980s, belly dance has sometimes taken on very often vulgar and extremely commercial connotations, the work carried out by Alia Mohamed is inspired and brings to light the splendor of tradition, reinterpreting the grace , the technique and the soft seduction of belly dance icons such as Soheir Zaki, Nadia Gamal and Nagwa Fouad.

Una nuova selezione che indagata il fantastico mondo della musica del secolo passato dedicata alla danza del ventre . Restando in linea con una pratica utilizzata nel tempo passato che vedeva musicisti e compositori utilizzare il nome di famose danzatrici per intitolare le loro opere , ho deciso di dedicare questo nuovo nuovo Mixtape a Alia Mohamed, danzatrice statunitense di base a Los Angeles ,  che  utilizza per le sue esibizioni molti  di questi splendidi brani  
Se nel corso degli anni la danza del ventre ha assunto talvolta connotazioni molto spesso volgari e d estremamente commerciali , l’opera svolta da Alia Mohamed si ispira e richiama ai fasti della tradizione riproponendo la grazia, la tecnica e la morbida seduzione propria di icone della danza del ventre quali Soheir Zaki, Nadia Gamal e Nagwa Fouad .
